James Reid

I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but I was a military brat and lived in my birth city only briefly. Graduating high school led to twenty-four years in the Army. Retiring from the Army in Florida, I spent ten years doing database development, mostly for defense contractors, until my wife and I decided we needed to live somewhere with more than one season and decamped to north Georgia, where I am thoroughly retired.

My interests are history (mostly nineteenth and twentieth centuries), spy fiction, military fiction, science fiction, and alternate history.

“Trimback” is my first effort to see publication. I’m the proud author of Luke Hutton’s Journey, about the son of Will and Angelica Hutton, who is referenced in Dies the Fire and appears in a vision granted to Melissa Aylward in The Scourge of God.

I’m not done yet.
