Aloha: To my dear Grandmother, this update is for you. My prayers are with you. Evelyn Woo passed away on April 8, 1999. Services were held in Honolulu on April 18, 1999.Details on Evelyn Woo's page
Found: Alden Woo found a white cattelya (BLC Evelyn Woo) that was grown (revived) from a plant that his Dad (T.D. Woo Sr.) brought over from Hilo and ended up at his house, which nearly died. He gave them to a friend at Westinghouse, Mel Wong. Mel Wong nurtured them back to health, and there’s living proof that Mom’s (Evelyn Woo) name lives on. Quite remarkable I’d say. See the orchid.

News: Contact with Cousins Joseph & Peter Woo (their grandfather Woo Yee Tung is the half brother of Woo Yee Bew) and Cousin Peter Wu (30th Generation under Yee Gwai’s branch) has led us to new cousinology information. July 6, 2000. Funeral was July 11, 2000 at Diamond Head Mortuary.
He was 87 years old. Son Elliot and Grandson Patrick did rememberances
and Nephew T. David Woo, Jr. did the eulogy at the ceremonies.
News: Aunty Ethel has just passed away. Just heard from
my mom on Feb. 7, 2000. Funeral arrangements are being made.
